 A suggested Classic
I suggested that we use Cathay Pacific as a classic, they flew the 707, L1011, 747-100,200,300 into the old Kia Tak airport which on a nice day can be a hoot. I have done it in fog, rain and at night in a 707, back when I was flying with the Flying Tigers Group. It's great stuff, the checker board get real important under those conditions.

 Re: A suggested Classic
Hi Pat, thanks You very much for Your suggestion. Cathay Pacific will appear later in our classic-schedule due to my limited time for creating the schedules. But the next coming airline Pan Am has also the Kai Tak included. So You can teach me flying that great approach.

 Re: A suggested Classic
Oh, thats a brilliant piece of advice there!!
Hey Dirk, what about having a separate schedule list for Virtual Kai Tak? Quite a number of airlines fly there.
Hey PAT, is it possible for you to work on those schedules yourself so that we don't have to wait too long for it?

 Re: A suggested Classic
Not a problem I'll see later today if I can find a classic schedule. What I was doing was on my return to VHHH, I would land at VHHX instead. All good though.

 Re: A suggested Classic
Pat, if wanted I can forward the raw schedules to You. Please ask me what You need.
Khan, let me think about that. It can be an idea after the PanAm is complete.

 Re: A suggested Classic
Dirk, we already have a long queue so I suggest moving in order. Don't jump to this already. Finish whatever you have on your plate and then continue from there.

Gentlemen, it is only a suggestion, we can not let our enthusiasm de-rail the plan. I work in underground mining, time and time again the saying,"plan the work and work the plan", has reared its head and been proven right. Cheers

 Re: A suggested Classic
Great Pat, thats my kind of working, too in the real life as well as in the BAV. The managements work in the BAV is for our pilots, not for the managament! And Your suggestion gave me the idea to make a curve in my present work get the Kai Tak more into my focus. You were not the first with this suggestion and now I have an idea for that which will be worked out.

 Re: A suggested Classic
I am old enough to know that there are no new ideals. Just people who make them happen. I had to look for a long time to find a good group to be part of from my hobby and I know I have found it. Thanks for all your hard work and I look forward to see your ideals take shape. Cheers
